In the summer 2008, Etamine du lys participated in the 7th Ecogestes Mediterranée campaign which aims at explaining the issues to users of the sea, and promoting the practical steps that can be taken to preserve the Mediterranean sea.

Since July 4, 2008, 60 ambassadors (employees, environmental professionals and volunteers) have been going out to meet amateur sailors at sea (as close as possible to the actual environment in question)to raise awareness about acologically-sound behaviour: the necessity of saving water, why it is important not to scrape the sea floor hen anchoring, and the importance of using plant-baed products when cleaning boats, doing washing-up and laundry...
IN a nutshell, thae aim is to change interlocutors into partners to favour the adoption of new eco-friendly behaviours.
To keep their "good habits" amateur sailors will be invited to sign an ecological commitment.


At the same time and until late 2008, avery etamine du lys washing-up liquid with lemon and mint (1 liter bottles) will carry a label promoting and explaining the operation.
10% of every bottle's selling price will be donated to the Ecogestes Mediterranée group.
